Welcome to Eclipse Season! Today at 7 am ET, we experienced a Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius. This is the first of two eclipses over the next 2 weeks, so we are officially in the âeclipse portalâ that incites transformation and realizations. Todayâs eclipse will only be visible to those in Antarctica (Aquarius loves to be niche), but everyone will feel it energetically. So what does it mean to âfeelâ an eclipse? Letâs break it down.
In the time between two eclipses, aka the eclipse portal (February 17th-March 3rd), things will feelâŚchaotic. Weâre in that messy middle when big changes are starting to take shape, making you feel a bit out of sorts, uncertain, and potentially lacking a sense of control.
The themes of this eclipse include freedom, liberation, independence, and new beginnings. You may be grappling with feeling constricted in some way and get a surge of restlessness that forces you to break free from an oppressive situation or mindset. Pay attention to your thoughts at this timeâ you may receive revelations about your passions, authenticity, and community. Thereâs this feeling of wanting to DO something. Journaling during this time can be very revealing about your purpose for the year ahead, as this Solar Eclipse marks the Lunar New Year and the entrance of the year of the Fire Horse.
